'The Dead Moon' - a spooky Lincolnshire legend set in the marshy fens.

'Alf and the Trolls' - Alf is heedless as a grasshopper, and one day decides to go and see who lives in the tumbledown house on the hill.

'The old woman who lived in a vinegar bottle' - the old woman is never satisfied with her lot - even as Empress of the world. A traditional English folktale, with lullabies to sing.

'Jorinda and Joringel' - a simple but atmospheric European Wondertale, set in an enchanted forest.

Shadow puppets are best for the dark time of the year, and require at least a partial blackout. Workshops
making shadow puppets can be combined with performances.
